Gorden & Associates

was founded in 1994 and has provided services to thousands of workers and their families in the areas of mental health and employee assistance. Our goal is to help local employers provide professional support and guidance with life's challenges while helping to maintain a positive, productive and stable workforce. We also provide management consultation, group facilitation and education for our various employer groups. With more than twenty years experience as employee assistance specialists, Gorden & Associates has provided professional consulting and counseling services for a diverse group of clients.

Robert Gorden
  MSW & LCSW

Robert received his BA in Sociology from UC Santa Cruz with an emphasis on survey research and normative behavior. His MSW from UC Berkeley stressed behavioral analysis, mental health, and behavioral medicine.

Jean Shimozaki
  MSW & LCSW

Jean has worked in the fields of health care, mental health and private practice for over thirty years. She received her AB in cultural anthropology and MSW with an emphasis on Community Mental Health, both from UC Berkeley.
